The camp and fishing areas
Comfortable accommodation in the heart of the fishing areas!
It consists of 3 bedrooms with private bathrooms, two lounges for aperitifs and fishing debriefings, a breakfast room, a fully equipped kitchen and a space reserved for drying and storing equipment.
The fishing lodge is situated in an 8-hectare park with 4 private lakes (one specifically dedicated to perch fishing and the other to pike fishing) as well as 300 meters of bank fishing on the Shannon.
A fishing shop, open upon request and reserved exclusively for camp anglers, is located right next to the lakes. It's stocked with all the equipment we use for our guided trips. You'll find your favorite brands there and won't be lacking anything!
The camp also has a private boat launch on the Shannon reserved for camp fishermen!

Pike fishing trip to Ireland: Lough Ree and Shannon
Le Shannon, le lough Ree et les petits lacs:
Le réseau hydrographique de la région est vaste et varié. Il offre au pêcheur de brochet de nombreuses possibilités en fonction de la météo et des niveaux d'eau. Une vingtaine de kilomètres de rivière (Shannon) est à votre disposition directement à partir du Lodge (cale de mise à l'eau privée).
Avec la proximité d'un plan d'eau mythique comme le Lough Ree et ses 10000 hectares, le terrain de jeux qui s'offre à vous est immense. La recherche des poissons trophés se pratique principalement sur ce grand lac. La densité en brochet est plus faible que sur les plans d'eau de petite taille ou sur le Shannon mais il produit régulièrement des poissons records (123cm cette année).
Lorsque la météo ne permet pas de sortir sur ce lac ou que les résultats ne sont pas là, plusieurs petits lacs (de 5 à 100 hectares) fermés ou en réseaux (reliés entre eux par une rivière ou canal) permettent de pêcher quelles que soient les conditions climatiques. Entourés de roselières, ils abritent une densité en brochet exceptionnelle et offre confort et sécurité même par grand vent.
Des barques Irlandaises sont sur place et adaptées aux besoins des pêcheurs. Elles sont toutes équipées d'un moteur thermique, d'un jeu de rames, d'un sondeur Humminbird, d'un moteur électrique Minn Kota, de gilets de sauvetage, d'une ancre flottante et d'une épuisette Fox Rage avec filet respectueux du poisson et anti-accrocs.
Grâce à leurs connaissances du terrain et à leur longue expérience de la pêche en Irlande, les guides présents sur place sauront vous orienter en fonction de la météo, de vos techniques et de vos envies sur les secteurs les plus prolifiques du moment!
